On my homescreen on the facebook app it's giving me an indication I have a message or comment (the little red number alert on upper right of app icon). When I go into facebook I don't have any notifications. Only when I push the notification tab and get back out of facebook does the numbered alert dissappear. Anyone else seeing this or know how to stop it? It just started happening a couple of days ago.

It does this occasionally for a lot of people, unfortunately it won't even stop if you uninstall the app. I just left it for a while and it stopped doing it after a couple of weeks. Have you tried logging out of Facebook on the app and logging back in again?
