Anyone having trouble updating or downloading apps from the apple app store after jailbreaking your device? When I click on the download or update button, the spinning icon just spins and never initiates a download. I tried restarting the phone, logging off of my icloud/itunes account, and downloading in safe mode and none of these worked. The only thing that helped was resetting all my setting. I know people say not to reset your iphone using the reset function when on jailbreak, but I accidentally did that and I had no boot loops and it fixed my issue. The only issue is that randomly, the trouble with the app store would occur again.

I have these tweaks installed:

activator
barrel
betterfivecolumhomescreen
better fiveicondock
biolockdown
bluepicker
bytafont2
dateinstatusbar
flux
forcegoodfit
noslowanimations
oslite8
powertap
prefdelete
slide2kill8
statushud2
untetheredheysiri

Any advice would be appreciated.

The main source of your issue is "OSLite8". Took me a while to troubleshoot what was creating this issue but I believe I found it. Do not use OSLite8 at all. For some reason when you do a "full clean" with OSLite8 the application will break the apple's App Store. Applications will be stuck in an infinite spinning loop.

Solution: Go to your 'Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings'. This fixed my issue. Hopefully it will help yours. Just use iCleaner Pro beta for now. It is stable and will not cause any issues.

But this error happened on my iPhone 6 with iOS 8.1

Thank you!!

Iv'e been searching for weeks. Cross referencing all 50+ tweaks that I use. OSLite8 was one of the last ones I was going to guess did this. Every time it happened my only option was to restore, re-jailbreak etc. The times I used OSLite I didn't use AppStore for a few after so I never made the connection. So thank you for helping us out with this. True Life savor.
