Anyone here bought iRam?

Curious about Your opinions of it. 6gb at newegg for $100 for the new mac pro's. Aren't these supposed to have a heatsink though?

I have 16GB of iRam for my 2008 MP. Great RAM, no issues and fast. Cost me around $350 for all 16GB.

I don't know about the newer RAM quality, but DDR3 doesn't need heatsinks because FBDIMM runs much much hotter, hence the need.

I thought the new ram had heatsinks on them. Haven't seen the apple ram in person yet on the new machines.

Bought 8GB this week. Runs just as smooth as butter. Also got it from Newegg. Got the RAM in two days.
