Anyone here own a good old non-electric scooter?

I want stand-up transportation that's like walking, only a little faster and easier. So I got to thinking that maybe a scooter would do the job. I was looking at electric models, but I'm a little put off by the cost, potential mechanical issues, battery limitations, etc. So can anybody here personally recommend a favorite make/model of kick scooter, or push scooter, or manual scooter, or whatever you want to call them? From the preliminary research I've been able to do, the Razor A5 looks like it has some fans, although something with an extra-wide deck might make it easier for me to rest both feet at once....

I remember the Razor being very cool 11 years ago

Not sure if those scooters are actually a viable form of transportation though
