Specifically this one? I already have a network of one sender by the computer and 2 receivers out in the garage (security cameras.) Working beautifully. I bought two more to add. Can I just hold the buttons and they'll find the network as I add them, or do I really have to run around up and down stairs, inside and outside, pressing all the buttons to add these? Thanks.

To pair them, you need to press the Pair button on an old powerline and the new one/ones within the time period, 1 min if not mistaken. To make it easy for you, just put the old and new ones on the same or adjacent outlets together. Once paired, you can relocate them where you want.

I have two TP Link, but a different model and only Fast Ethernet (100mbps). Right now that set is paired between my equipment downstairs and an Airport Extreme upstairs.

I recently added the AE and it was just a matter of plugging both in and pressing the button on both. The adapters paired and that was it.

My son has a different set of powerline adapters (different make) that are Gigabit. Again, paired downstairs to upstairs.
