Hey All - Thanks to your many years of insight and solutions that helped keep my PMG5 going. Its contracted the dreaded three blinking lights at power up POST due to RAM problem, probably the solder issue. Any way after years of getting it to work its finally bit the dust so to speak at least to my limited capablities. Probably would work if reflowed. Tried the hair dryer trick did not work

Anyway if you are interested in a clean PMG5 for free - let me know - you have to pick up in Somerton section of Phila PA

again thank much

Blessings
jose

Thanks DearthnVader - good point about the adapter - you would think that as the cost for the hardware comes down so would the adapters but guessing there is a lot of demand. By the way i see you are a colts enthusiast - enjoy your new quarterback, Carson Wentz, really good guy and very gifted. I have always liked him. Couple of tough years lately but i think back to the super bowl season, he was very impressive, anyway sorry about off topic - thanks for the adapter advice
