iPod touch Anyone in Southern California get an iPod touch yet?

I called earlier this morning, and none of them said they had any. Anyone else have any luck?

Westlake store has some yesterday, but they sold out and have none now.

I also called Topanga, the guy said they haven't received any yet.

Which stores did you try? I think there are more Apple stores in LA than any other city, but very few iPod Touches so far.

EDIT- Northridge had some but are sold out.

I heard the Irvine stored had a bunch. Haven't checked the Grove or Sherman Oaks. I'll call both of those stores today at lunch

I got the last one at the Beverly Center last night. Sorry that doesn't help.

But I had called around yesterday and found this out:
-Santa Monica Prominade had gotten some 16 gigs in and sold out
-Century City hasn't gotten any in yet
-The Grove hasn't gotten any in yet
-Didn't call Glendale

So that's as of yesterday.

Just kidding . Anyway, it looks like LA stores haven't gotten a lot yet. I'm sure by Sunday or Monday there will be plenty of inventory. I don't have time to rush to a store because they got 3 units that will probably sell out in 5 minutes anyway...

The Apple Store in Fasion Valley mall (San Diego) has the 8 gig models but not the 16. They also dont have either model on display yet but said they will tomorrow. Go figure

I got mine at Victoria Gardens at about 4PM yesterday. No telling if they have any left.

I picked up a 16gb at lunch today (1pm-ish Friday). They had both 8 & 16 in their back room.

I picked up the last 16GB at Northridge this morning just after the store opened.

As of around noon today, the one at Topanga Plaza has yet to receive any.

I think they will all have them, and a very good friend of mine works at one, so if he says it, I'm betting he's probably right
