I guess a better question would be, "How does a warranty work in general?" I bought a mac mini off of eBay a little while ago, which included a full, 1 year warranty. The thing is, it didn't come with a receipt or anything that talked about a warranty. It did come with the original box, manual, and everything else though.

Would I still be able to benefit from the warranty since mini itself is covered by it, and since I still have the original box, or is something else needed to prove it? I've never really dealt with warranties so I wasn't sure how it normally worked.

Thanks in advance for any info :).

You should have no problems getting warranty service. You can input the machine's serial number on this page to see your warranty status. That's all they need to verify warranty eligibility.
