Apparently my issue with my Pro not turning on was liquid damage and they wanted to charge me about $800 to fix it. So I googled and saw of Tekserve and Dr Brendan. Tekserve estimated something cheaper (over the phone i explained my issue.)

I just found some more info on a similar issue and Apple offered that person a new comp for near $800 if they traded it in. The thread was two years old though. I didn't even think to ask about that when I was there because I honestly didnt expect it to be liquid damage. I just left in shock and upset and went about my business. Any who, any info would be appreciated.
