Anyone know how to customize the numbering for photos?

I have some folders on my Mac to which I copy photos taken with my iPhone. I've reset my phone recently so the numbering has gone back to 0001 and I'm having to rename them while copying. Does anyone know how I can set the number I'd like the phone to start with when it's naming the photos?

EDIT: Literally less than a minute after posting I noticed the DCIM folder with the plist I wanted. It's in DCIM/.MISC for other people's reference.
