So my family and I are planning a trip this weekend and this has happened several times during our past trips and I want to make sure it doesnt happen for this upcoming one. So say I'm listening to music and getting directions (using my Airpod Pros) from the Maps app when someone calls my mom and she picks up the call. Now the call instantly gets transferred to my Airpods Pro and I can hear the other person but my mom hears nothing now. Is there a way I can disable the feature on my phone or my parents phone so that next time that happens, I can still listen to my music/get directions and my parents can answer the call on their own phone?

We all share one iCloud account cause I'm the main person who controls it. I tried forgetting the Airpods from my parents phones but it says if I remove it from their phone, then it will do it for all other devices on the same iCloud account and sure enough once I do that, now my phone doesnt recognize it anymore and I have to manually pair it back.
