Just curious, I ordered my iPhone 7 from T-Mobile per their trade-in/EIP promo. Since I got a 128gb, I was charge $160 up front.

I got this Costco Visa card a few months back, which I used for this order, and it says that extends product warranties for 1 additional year beyond the manufacturer warranty. I get that it's not a free AppleCare+ plan (covering broken screens and other damage), but if I read right, it would be an extra year of the standard initial Apple warranty that comes with the iPhones.

But I'm just wondering if, since I bought it on an EIP plan if it matters at all should I need to get any kind of service on the iPhone during year #2. Has anyone else used this card to buy their iPhone 7's? Thanks.
