Anyone know if the Apple Magic Trackpad is real or not?

We have all seen the photos splashed about just before WWDC, but with no announcement of this new hardware, its still unclear if it exists at all, but seeing as Apple did patent the name Magic Trackpad, it could be real, no?

I wouldn't mind having a trackpad for my desktop, I don't even click anymore on my macbook.
