Anyone know if the Apple store has the hi res 15" and 17" i7 instock?

I called my local store but they told me to call/come back later as they are unpacking it right now and are not allowed to sell the mbp at the moment.

Anyone here confirm that they have the hi res (matte) 15" and 17" at their local stores?

nope. i called one store that said they didn't have it. i called another that said it's an online only customization, like getting a faster hd, and that they won't have it in stores.

I was told when I picked up my 15" this morning that they wouldn't expect to get a few of the option screens in store for quite a while - that early on they would be BTO order only. Apple store showed 2 to 4 business days shipping for the high res screen so I just took the stock - couldn't wait anymore!

My local store told me their instructions said April 14 or 15. So I'm going to call tomorrow to check.

One of my local Apple Stores has a limited number of 17" Core i7 MBPs in stock but they're all anti-glare. I'm holding out for the glossy screen.
