Anyone know if the IPAD 3 have an internal scaler?

I know applications will be upgrade to use every pixel of the Ipad3 but lets say I want to watch a 1080p movie.. that is still to low.. and if it doesn't have an good scaler the movie will actually look better in a 1080p monitor..
