I know you can print a list within iTunes but i'm not going to do that because it'd take 147 sheets of paper. I tried just copying everything in my iTunes and pasting it into TextEdit but then the app goes into the "not responding" state.

Navigate to your music folder in finder and grab it from there?

I'd guess you have TextEdit set to Rich Text Mode. You're copying not only album names but the audio, too--and that operation will take a very long time.

Toggle TextEdit to Plain Text Mode (Cmd-Shift-T). Then try your copy/paste operation again.

Goto the songs view in iTunes, select all and copy
Then open numbers and start a new blank document
paste and you'll have all the songs in a list..

With a bit of filter magic etc you should be able to get a list of just the albums out of there

You do know... anything you print can be saved as a PDF. From there it will be easy to wrangle it into whatever program and format you want.

Wow, I didn't even think of doing that, lol. I have a gift for overthinking things. Thanks!
