"Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?" by the band Chicago, I believe.

I concur...nothing says "horns" like Chicago.

Interesting that you say that.:)

As I was walking down the street one day

A man came up to me and asked me what the time was that was

on my watch, yeah

And I said

Does anybody really know what time it is

I don't

Does anybody really care

care

If so I can't imagine why

about time

We've all got time enough to cry

Oh no, no

And I was walking down the street one day

A pretty lady looked at me and said her diamond watch had

stopped cold dead

And I said

Does anybody really know what time it is

I don't

Does anybody really care

care

If so I can't imagine why

about time

We've all got time enough to cry

Oh no, no

And I was walking down the street one day

Being pushed and shoved by people trying to beat the clock,

oh, so I just don't know,

I just don't know

And I said, yes I said

Background Vocal:

People runnin' everywhere

Don't know the way to go

Don't know where I am

Can't see past the next step

Don't have to think past the last mile

Have no time to look around

Just run around, run around and think why

Does anybody really know what time it is

I don't

Does anybody really care

care

If so I can't imagine why

about time

We've all got time enough to die

Oh no, no

Cool! Now I gotta play Chicago Transit Authority again.

D@mn, now I have those horns playing in my head all night ;)

One day, I'm going to score some Chicago tunes for acapella group - could be a lot of fun.

I have a friend who put on a concert of all trombones -- can you imagine -- Layla being played by 20 trombones and a drumkit? Pure horn heaven.

No, no, no. It was Derek and Clive's (Peter Cook and Dudley Moore's) "Jump"

Lyrics

Recording (starts about 30 seconds in)

NOTE: OBSCENE LANGUAGE. NO MINORS OR PEOPLE LIKELY TO BE OFFENDED.

Classic British humour at its best

Speaking of Chicago, wasn't there a remix of their song Streetplayer not done by them? I just heard Streetplayer for the first time in a few years today. What a great song! One of Chicago's funkiest sounding.

So, what was the worse job you ever had?
