Hi

There's a delta 120mm fan for the case and a 80mm fan for the psu. If i can find fans with similar cfm but lower db i'll get it.

Can someone spare me having to take the psu apart and the case fan apart and tell me what ratings they are, or at least their names i so can do a google search?

I'd really appreciate that.

Ps - if anyone has changed these, let me know how it went and what temps were like

Thanks

Eddie

G4/400 case fan Sensflow FWC1212B rated at 12V and 0.44A
Of the current crop that compares most closely with the
ABF1212VM
120x120x25mm, 12V (7.0-13.8V) 0.4A with 3100rpm 104CFM and 44.5dBA

and the ABF1212HNE
120x120x38mm 12V (4-13.2V) 0.46A with 2900rpm 120CFM and 44dBA

From a sound point of view the computer cases are terrible, vibrating fans and disks in boxes filled with sheets of flimsy metal loosly put together. Just open the case and use a finger to tap your way around and you will find out how bad it is!

At least for the CPU fan I think it "overrated" and I contemplate adding a serial resistor say a 12 Ohm 5W to drop the speed and noice of the fan quite a lot and only if this does not work will I replace the fan. The case fan is rated for worst case ;) scenario with all slots and drive bays filled in a hot room. With far less than that it really make more noice than needed.
