It takes longer. Many threads here. It is not a big deal if you put it on charge before bed time.

Don't know how long it takes. I really don't even know how long my iPad2 took.

I put it on the charger before bed. It's 100% when I get up.

So long as the time it takes is less than the time between going to bed and waking up, I'm good.
