After WWDC, maybe late June (if I remember correctly), when the high schoolers graduate and have grad parties.
The same time they do every year. End of Summer before the university/college goes back.

Yes it is. It normally comes on a fair bit later than the US deal and I don't think it works out to as big a discount (still something for nothing though).
If it is June 2nd which history appears it will turn out that day than that means only 15 days till I order my macbook
I heard from my friend in Japan that the event there has already began and all you get is a free nano. Does anyone know if its the same promotion for every country because if so its deffiantly a step down from last year.
I bought a new imac at the apple store in NYC this past weekend and was told by a sales person I had 30 days from the date of purchase to claim any rebates, discounts, or back-to-school specials that become available after my date of purchase. Does anyone know if this is true? I can't find this exact policy anywhere on the website. Basically I'm hoping that within my 30-days, if the free ipod touch promo will be available, and that I can claim it without the hassel of returning everything. Thanks.

Just had a quick look on there website and shows no sign of a Back to School deal
Question regarding the promo.. Do you have to buy the say; iMac and iPod from Apple or can you buy both from say BestBuy or someplace like that to get the rebate? Also what form of identification do you have to give them to show you are a student?

It has to be purchased from either the online Apple Store or Apple retail store. You need to either type in your student card # online, show them the card in store, or log into your school's website in store.
