Hello everyone,

I recently purchased an iBook G4 with a video problem on eBay. I was hoping to pick up a new logic board for it. If anyone knows where I could get one for a reasonable price please let me know. I am looking for a G4 800MHz but any other speed would be helpful also, although those require me to buy other components also. If anyone can help me out please let me know as some members of the MacRumors community might know of a better place to buy one than I could. The reason I haven't just bought one on ebay is because there aren't any listed at the moment.

Thanks,
Paul Martin

I think http://www.ifixit.com has them for not too much $$

Heyas pmartin,
For the price of a new logic board (like $300-700 depending on the processor), in theory it might be cheaper and better to get a new/refurb iBook (for ~$950 or maybe less).

Also if the laptop still has AppleCare (you never know...), maybe just send it in.

Otherwrise ifixit is not a bad place to get a new one.
