ok, on the screen with the list of your messages that has peoples names i deleted a thread of messages by swiping across the name and hitting delete. the name along with the messages is gone...now today i looked and all of a sudden the name reappeared but there are no messages there...anyone know how it happens? is it because the person on the other end started typing or something but never hit send via imessage?? thoughts?

anyone know why and how contact name reappeared after deleting the contact thread..

I can't offer a solution, but I thought I'd chime in to say I've seen this before. I'm interested to see what the reason is.
