Anyone know why Third Party Pencils never have pressure sensitivity?

And yup, no pressure sensitivity. I’m figuring it’s a price issue b/c a force accelerometer must add extra price(?) No idea for sure but I’m glad the after market pencils exist b/c my AP2 took a direct 90 hit on the nib and seems to have suffered some internal damge.
