I am a tmobile user and wanna buy a no contract att iphone 5. But it seems there is no way for people to order online or in the att retail store without an att account. Anyone knows about that?

Your best bet right now is to go to the Apple Store and buy a device-only iPhone 5. I did it last year for the 4S; just make sure you don't give them any account information or phone numbers.
