Anyone live in/know a bit about Tokyo?

Wondering if I'd be able to get into town from Haneda airport at midnight Sunday/Monday, where in town I should go, and how to get back to the airport by 5 or so in the morning?

Odd request, I know, but if anyone can help me out i'll be very grateful!

There is a Monorail that runs from Haneda to Hamamatsucho Station (in Tokyo) which connects to the JR Yamanote Line, which would pretty much take you to any tourist site you wanted to see. I'm not sure if the monorail runs at night.

Getting back by 5 am is going to be difficult to impossible. The trains don't run between about 1 am and 5:30 am, so you may be forced to get a taxi if you can even find one of those. And even if you do, you are going to pay out the nose for it.

Best to just take a nap in the airport IMO.

Just stay at the airport. Trains don't run between about 1-5, as mentioned.

Taxis are *everywhere*, but yes, a ride from the middle of town to Haneda...gonna cost you a LOT.
