Anyone made Highpoint rocketraid 640L work with 3,1?

Have put a Rocketraid 640L PCI raid card into my Mac pro 2008. Unfortunately the RAID utility does not seem to recognize it. The two connected SSD are detected as external drives. Am I perhaps lacking some drivers or firmware?
 
Installed the newest drivers and webGUI package from the Highpoint site.
Tired connecting via localhost:7402 but no connection.
Is the webGUI the only way to make a RAID volume with this card?
