I've got a 3GS right now and an iPhone 4 delivering Thursday. I'm not updating my 3GS. I want to wait until the new phone arrives to experience the os and features. Just curious is anyone else is doing this or is everyone updating to check out the new stuff?

Im pretty sure I will just wait. Its only a few more days. Oh, I have the 3G and i know everything is not going to be available to it anyway. Why bother?

I'm not updating either... My iPhone 4 should be (crossing fingers) arriving on Thursday, so I'd like to be in total awe when I activate it...

Same here, not to mention I don't feel like doing it and there is no jailbreak out for it yet anyway so not interested.

Same here. 4G with 4.0, 3G will stay on 3.1.2 until jailbreak becomes available.

Selling my 3G and 3GS, so that decision is up to the new owner, wouldn't want to mess with the base bands if the plan an unlock.

Doing the exact same thing. Waiting for that "all new experience" in three short days. :apple::D

My only concern is that if I backup the 3g and restore it to my iPhone 4, it might restore the old OS onto my new iPhone 4
