I’ve got considerably better battery life since I moved from 7th gen aluminum to 8th gen SS. With my 7th gen, I’d often be at 20 or below by 10 p.m. With my SS 8th gen, I’m often still around 40%.

Just wondering if anyone else had noticed battery improvement, or if the SS watches have better battery life overall.

I have a slew of watches. Most notably and worn the most is the S5 ceramic. The S5, today, has about 25% less battery life than the Ultra on cellular. However,, I am estimating, the S5 ceramic has at least 30% better batter life on the newer watch OS than it did when initially released.

To me, this is a rinse and repeat issue. The first release of the new watch OS is a battery sucker. then the .01 helps, then the .1 release is much better and so on.
