Anyone Notice That You Can't Buy an iPhone on Apple.com Anymore?

I went to apple.com and noticed this. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I think this happened after CrapWorld when there was a sticky on the site...

You haven't been able to buy one there since the 3G came out. I think you can order one online from AT&T, but when the 3G came out, online ordering went bye-bye everywhere for a few months.

What rock have you been under for six months? Are you outside the US? Because the 3G has never been on sale on store.apple.com/us. They do sell online to other countries though.

There's still a "Buy iPhone" button but it says you have to go to the Apple story to finish the transaction.
