anyone notice the 17" is flimsy

it's my first 17" laptop. is this normal? i mean, you can ever so slightly bend it, and it squeaks when you do it. sometimes when i pick it up it makes the noise. isn't that, well, kinda cheap? or is it normal. if i am insane, just say so.

Yes, it is very thin, and made of flexible aluminum.
