I've had several idevices, but nothing like this has ever happened:
A few days ago, I gently slid my iPhone 4 onto an Altec-Lansing speaker-dock system (the same one I've used with my 3G and iPod touch), and when I removed it, I noticed that two pins (from the 30-pin on the bottom of the phone) had broken off. I'm not sure if it was from the speaker or if it had always been that way, though, as I hadn't really thought to inspect the docking part of the phone when I bought it.
The Apple Store is replacing my phone entirely, but it will be about three days before they get anymore 32 GB iPhones in stock.
Has anyone else had a similar problem? I was *definitely* not rough with the phone at all at any point.
