Anyone on VZ having problems with Receiving Text

Over the last few days, I am having problems receiving all of my Text Messages that people have been sending me. I close down the phone and then power it back up and it seems to work OK for a while then it does it again within a day or so. Could this be VZ or the Phone? Do most of you have to power down your phones every couple of days to make things work correctly?

I've been on VZW for several years, and for the past year with the iPhone. Once in a rare while, a text might come a bit late (like a few minutes, max... actually, in particular, just from one friend on AT&T), but other than that, I've never had trouble with texts not coming through. I rarely ever have to restart my iPhone. Maybe you're not getting good VZW reception, or your phone is problematic...

I just had a prob. today (I'm on verizon) where my wife sent me 3 txts. It wasn't until she called me and I answered that I heard all 3 txts come in at the same time.

I figure it's something on verizon's end.
