Anyone order 14" M1 Max from B&H Photo Video?

I ordered almost maxed out 14" M1 Max(64, 32, 2tb drive) Nov 1, 2021 and was told delivery would be late December 2021 as I was in the first batch of orders. Now they are stating Feb 5, 2022 delivery date and blaming Apple. I went on Apple site and if I ordered the same specced laptop TODAY I would get laptop Feb. 11.

Has anyone had similar delays ordering from B&H Photo Video? Might as well preorder the 2022 M1 Pro at this rate. Horrible customer service.

They're constrained by Apple's ship dates, just like every other retailer. According to what you wrote, you'll get it even slower direct from Apple? Seems like B&H is the best of a bad situation here.

I've ordered numerous times from B&H, and always found their customer service to be exemplary in every way. This is more an Apple problem than a B&H one.

BHphoto is g2g. I’ve bought Sony lenses from them.

Just beware their open computer return policy. As in, once you open it, you can’t return it unless it’s DOA.

I ordered the laptop from BH on NOV 1, 2021. If I order it TODAY from Apple it will arrive around same time even though there is a 48 day difference since Nov 1. Next time ordering via Apple as BH customer services makes claims about delivery dates that are simply not true. Apple's delivery date estimates have been spot on. Also, based on BH previous claims Feb ship date might not even be true.

Delivery dates are always estimates and have never, ever been guaranteed. That's even true with manufacturers.

I've had very good luck with Apple from iPhone 3g to 12. BH CSR stated I was in the first 60 orders and would get it late Dec. Their backorder status info is very unclear although if you go to the store the sales can look up and give you more info.

They can't send it to you if they didn't receive it from Apple.

B&H is testing the patience of many here in the community. I ordered my MBP on day 1. The only communication I have had with them is two emails saying my item is still back ordered.

Another member said that he only orders in stock items from them. When I have done this they have been very good. But they are terrible with back orders. I waited for 9 months once for a new Nikon lens.
