macOS Anyone out there still using Quicktime for Java?

It seems Apple has little love for the API, however we are still using it as it seemed(at the time we made our product) that it was the simplest way to get an app to play mpeg-2 while still remaining cross-platform. However, the future for the API seems dim and it seems that it won't even run on most windows machines nowadays...

Anyone else still using the API? If not, what have you moved to?
