Anyone out there using the Apple Lightning to Micro USB Adapter successfully?

Well, my tenth million Lightning to USB cable is starting to fail and I was considering the Lightning to Micro USB Adapter just because it's an adapter and it might be harder to break than a cable. It's also kind of neat that it fits in my wallet and I can carry it everywhere I go and there's no way that I can't charge my phone.

The bad thing is that I saw plenty of reviews on apple.com saying that it doesn't work after iOS10, did they fix this with iOS11?

I have an Amazon one that still works on my iPhone X with latest iOS 11.3.1 if that helps?
