If case no one has been paying attention, the Windows version of DXO 5 which just came out several weeks ago has users apoplectic with rage over paying top-dollar for sub-beta quality software; just read some of the forums on DXO, photo.net, dpreview, etc.
I've been a booster for DXO 4.5, despite cursing it's name on several occasions, as anyone will understand who has tried to update lens/camera modules and have their DXO installation revert back to a trial-version which won't accept your license code (and the film-pack PS plugin still doesn't work for CS3 on Intel Macs). Nonetheless, it makes my images 'pop' like nothing else. It's discouraging to hear such universally negative reports from DXO's windows guinea-pigs. I really hope they manage to sort it out for the Mac release (barring another mass labor/transportation/trombonist's strike, this being France), but I'm not expecting too much.
