Anyone pre ordered 4with carphone warehouse and got confirmation email?!?!

I pre ordered at 8am this morning and just wondered if anyone who has also ordered with Carphone Warehouse has received confirmation email, if so did you order by phone, online in store, and when?

Ordered 02 upgrade with CPW yesterday lunchtime about 6 pm got the confirmation email, however then got an an email saying my exchanged had been processed which was strange.

Called them up and they said it was part of the upgrade procedure. anyway checked with o2 and my account has been upgraded so assuming i'll get my phone friday.

I'm guessing you did it by phone, as I think that's only way to upgrade O2 atm. How soon after did you get email?

yes i did it via phone, however there was an option online as well which my boss all so used. i ordered around lunch time yesterday got my email about 6pm the same day

I pre-ordered online just before 3pm on Monday and still confirmation email to say it's accepted, just the initial one. I've rung them up and they just said it's being dealt with by a special iPhone 4s team they have setup so they can't look at my order and see what is happening. As O2 pulled the fast track upgrade I'm worried it won't get accepted

I ordered on Sat afternoon with CPW, got the confirmation email immediately and got sent a email saying its due to leave the warehouse soon, gave me a tracking number and said it WILL be delivered on Friday. Can't say fairer than that.

Ordered a 32GB white iPhone 4S online from carphonewarehouse website on an O2 12 month upgrade. Cost £299.99 which they have taken from my card and according to the MyO2 site I have been upgraded. Ive received a confirmation email from carphone to state my order is "being dispatched" and that I should receive it on Friday. When I check the tracking number on the Yodel website however it says "no details available" so not sure if it's actually been sent yet.

I got email at 8.06 this morning from Carphone Warehouse. Regarding the tracking number mine says the same, from previous experience I would say it won't show on tracking site until this evening

"Waiting eagerly for my iPhone 4S to arrive tomorrow. When I check the parcel number on #Yodel's website it says 'No details available'. Normal?"

Received this response:

"Normal at the moment, yes. The handsets haven't shipped yet but should arrive in time for tomorrows launch. Thanks. "

I guess we just wait then. :-/

anyone had any updates ? not had any more emails since the one i got monday and the couriers website says not details available. not convinced mine will be delivered tomorrow

When I check mine on the tracking system it says that it's been collected by the couriers. It appears it's on it's way!
