Anyone Preorder from Walmart?

I just checked and it's still preparing order. Still says arrives Monday Sept 25 which is a lot better than Nov 6th-13th.

I got a backorder email around 3PM, saying if they weren't able to procure one for shipment by the 25th, the order will automatically cancel. I'm not sweating it, though. I'll probably hold off on ordering again until the aTV gets Atmos support.

Ended up just cancelling since I have an OG Shield and it’s honestly doing a great job on its own and it already has the Amazon video app.

I bought it when it was $149. The status changed to shipped this morning.

Saw a bunch of people had theirs shipped this morning. I'm in the same boat as you-- my first gen Shield is a champ at a fraction of the price. No harm no foul

Yeah, only downside is I was looking forward to HomeKit automation but it's not something I absolutely need right now anyway. I still have a few more things I would like to add such as smart plugs and I can already access my thermostat remotely anyway.

Shield is a beast though.
