anyone pulling pop email from Wide Open West? (wowway.com)?

This is maddening.

I am using my iPhone fine with gmail and yahoo, but I can't get my ISP to work via POP3. Their support has been no help.

I am using:

pop3.mail.wowway.com - incoming
smtp.mail.wowway.com - outgoing

username and password, without the @wowway.com on the end.


Tries to connect, then asks if I want to connect without SSL and then just hangs. I can't figure this out. Anyone working with wowway.com?

Did you ever get this figured out? I have Wow also and am running into the same problem.

For me it just says verification failed. Check Incoming mail server info to make sure it's correct because pop3.mail.wowway.com isn't responding. Please help Also I am using an ipod touch with the new apps. thanks for the help
