Anyone received the Tethering SMS/email with 4.2.1?

I find it REALLY weird that I got the text and almost so did everyone just after the 4.3.1 launch...

Using the "infrastructure" WIFI connection, lets either ATT/VZW know you are "tethering" any type of connection.

Any ideas?
