Anyone recommend a video noise reduction filter?

I am converting some old family movies on VHS and some of them are a bit noisy. Does anyone know of any good filters for FCE4 that they would recommend? I have used some of the filters in virtual dub in my PC days and had pretty decent results with it, but I'd prefer to do it all within FCE4 if I can.

SoundTrack Pro and Sound Soap both have decent noise reduction tools. But it all depends on what you mean by "noise." If it's a constant noise with a narrow frequency range, an EQ or pass filter may do the trick.

Obviously I assumed audio noise ... but now you've got me wondering too.

EDIT: well duh! I just read the heading and for the first time see that the OP specified video noise. I need to learn to READ better!
