I remember reading a year or three ago about some bluetooth tests that were done on cell phones. IIRC, they basically found that leaving a phone idling for 24 hours with bluetooth on and off (but connected to nothing) for that time had a negligible impact on battery life.

Anyone remember this? Anyone have a link to these studies? My Googlefu and DuckDuckfu are failing me.
