Under the Sea
i remember when i first got OSX and my first imac..

when i would click on IE or Safari in the dock it would open up
a window... and if i click the icon in the dock a 2nd or 3rd time it would
open up some more 'new windows' but after acouple updates.. this
little feature disappeared.

any ideas why? or how to get this back?

Well, I don't remember 10.0 as I was still running Acorn RISCOS back then but if you ctrl-click safari's icon in the dock, (or click and hold) you'll get a menu that includes "new window".

Damn shame that OS was never open-sourced. Or that Apple engineers are required to have one on their desk, for that matter ;)

Time for a new thread, I think!

Apple had Acorns on their desks in R&D for a very long time.

I'm still quite amazed that the Tokyo stock exchange is still powered by RISCOS.
