I am curious how my machine will run Leopard. I don't want to upgrade the OS from Tiger just to have downgrade it later. I have an 20" iMac G4 1.25Ghz and 1.25Gb of ram. Any advice would be great! Thanks

Leopard is way way faster than tiger on the same hardware config. I upgraded to Leopard from Tiger on my G4 powerbook and it felt like I got a hardware upgrade.

Im using Leopard 10.5.5 on this iBook G4 1.25ghz with 768MB RAM.

Runs flawlessly, the upgrade from Tiger was like I had been given a hardware upgrade of some sort. Runs really smooth. Obviously load times for apps are slower than Intel machines(4-5 bounces in dock for iTunes and iPhoto) but still very snappy for a machine bought in 2004 I think it was.

Id recommend the upgrade strongly.

I run it on a 1.0 Ghz 12" PB. It's decent. Doesn't seem slower than Tiger.

Ran it on a 1.2GHz iBook with 1.25GB of RAM and it ran fine, wasn't slower than Tiger and after a clean install it was actually a bit faster.

The fancy eye candy stuff didn't work but that doesn't impinge on it's ability to work.
