Anyone running ProTools 10 on a Mac Mini QC i7 Server?

Just curious how it runs with a decent amount of plug-ins.

I would think the 2.0 Quad-Core i7 with 8GB of RAM would move along pretty nicely, even with the platter base-model 500GB 7200rpm drives.

Just looking for user feedback.

i'm very seriously considering this for my new music machine, but i'd be on PT9 for the time being.

as the mac mini server is some 5x more powerful than my current machine (dual 2.0GHz g5), and the most i've ever taxed that machine at mixdown is 50% CPU usage, i suspect i'll be just fine.

sonnettech will be offering an interesting rack solution for the mini server, here.

nice box for adding the Avid HD Native card, hiding the whole thing in the closet, and getting some airflow.
