So i just purchased an iMac 2.8ghz core 2 duo yesterday, I'm running windows XP on my macbook but have a brand new windows vista ultimate 32-bit cd sitting around, and i'm tempted to run that in bootcamp on my new iMac. does anybody run this on their imac? any problems or feedback?

since i bought my macbook 2 months ago i think i have used windows maybe twice so i probably wont be using it much at all. I'm just curious more than anything.

I have a new 2.66 iMac with 2GB RAM and have installed 64bit Vista Ultimate in Boot Camp with no issues. (It runs Vista better than my husband's brand new Dell laptop, lol.)

I use it for Final Fantasy XI (husband's demand!) and for .Net software development (yes yes, I know ... I fell into the darkside long ago). It runs perfectly (that is, about as perfect as Vista can get), but I do plan on upgrading to 4GB RAM soon, mainly because it's just so cheap right now, heh.

Good luck!

cool thanks for the response, i have 4gb of ram on it's way. i will install it on bootcamp today and give it a shot.
