Anyone seen/heard of podcast app on watch?

Just wondering if anyone has noticed if the apple podcast app will be able to sync w/the watch?
I would like to have access to the casts when not by my phone at work, seems like it would be similar to music sync but haven't seen it yet.

I'm hoping to leave my phone on the charger at work and be able to play/pause ff/rw from the watch itself. And of course listen to podcasts, so curious about the volume.

Marco Arment's Overcast app just updated recently to be compatible with the Apple Watch.
