I will be selling my iPhone 4 and noticed that elegreen.com seems to offer a higher price than most of the other online places. I've never heard of this company before and wonder if they can be trusted. Has anyone here used them before?

I'd rather not use Craig's list or Amazon.

I got their flyer in Pasadena when lining up in front of apple store. Talk to people handing out their freebies. Pretty reliable and nice staffs. I mailed my two 4 and one 4s, got the check in 3 days. AND, package coming with 3 iphone 5 free cases... I really do not expect to receive 3:eek:

I have been very pleased with trading in my electronics at Best Buy. No hassle just look up the pricing and bring it in. Elegreen listed $310!for the phone I just traded in and got $317.25 at Best Buy. Now with Best Buy you don't get cash but a Best Buy card to use in their store. For me I was upgrading from the 4S to the 5 so it worked perfectly.

I don't need store credit for my old iPhone 4, I want cash to offset the price of the new iPhone 5.

The title of my thread is about selling to elegreen, not Best Buy, Amazon, Craig's List or eBay. Sorry peeps, but all I really want to know about is elegreen.

eleGreen Success

I've sold two devices to eleGreen now and have had an awesome experience each time. Sold my iPad 2 most recently and got about $10 more than what gazelle was offering. My best experience with them so far was selling my old iPhone 4S I got $320 from eleGreen (AT&T 64GB) when Gazelle was only offering $240. I never request a box from them so I just place the order online use the label in my email to ship the phones in and pretty much always get my PayPal payment the same day they say they've received the device. Long story short they're a bit of a newcomer to the game but they're definitely doing a great job!

Update: They now provide price match on their website for competitors

I don't use the buyback programs, I've gotten more money frrom selling on classifieds such as cellsolo.

not in my case.

My experience was "bait and switch". My phone had been in a full Otter case ever since removing it from the box and had no marks anywhere, but ele-g elected to downgrade it by another $10. All I can say is I'm back to Gazelle who has delivered as promised when I used them.

Elegreen sounds like a complete scam to me. I've used Gazelle and BuyBackWorld and both services are awesome. BuyBackWorld pays more and buys more items, but Gazelle is good too, just pay less usually.
