Just curious if anyone upgraded to iOS 5 and jailbroke it.

I don't know. I don't like a lot of the things I'm reading about iOS 5 on the forums and am sticking with my 4.3.5 (ugh tethered) jailbreak.

Personally, I upgraded. Having a tethered JB is a bit of a pain, but its bearable. But I have several friends who are still on 4.x, waiting for the untethered JB.

You experiencing any problems on 5 that you weren't on 4? I read a few things on here that bugged me, particularly the music quality... huge to me since my iPhone is my main player on the go.

Music quality is fine, I really haven't noticed any problems there. What in specific?

For me, the major issue right now is themes. Winterboard just started working with iOS 5 (compatibility issues, as with lots of cydia apps), but I guess there were a lot of changes to individual file names in iOS 5, so most (if not all) themes don't work properly anymore.

Other than that and the tethering thing, iOS 5 seems like an improvement overall.

I've always ran a Jailbreak and my 3GS is still on 4.3.3 untethered. I've got an iPhone 4 coming from ebay that probably has ios5 on it. I'll be camping the hack forums for a JB or a way to roll it back to 4.3.3. (not sure what blobs it may have saved on it)

cydia, sad to say, seems to be about a year behind good support for the current OS, so who knows what we'll see for ios5 or when.

I had high hopes that iOS 5 would have theme support, but notifications (like i care) is all we got.

Im tethered on iOS 5 and im loving it!!! Its seems a lot faster and smoother too.

and the iOS 5 features are pretty good too I tried a few Winterboard themes, dont seem to be working right, but I dont use Winterboard that much

Still on 4.3.3 jailbreak. Waiting for untethered iOS5. To be honest i don't mind waiting, it doesn't even seem that impressive. Almost everything iOS5 does i can do right now.

imessage is the only reason im on ios5

I miss a lot of the safari tweaks from ios4 jb, and i miss the untethered carefree feeling. Will see how it goes from here. Might go back to 4.3.3 but imessage is definitely nice, saving some money there for sure

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_3 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8J2 Safari/6533.18.5)

I4 4.3.3 untethered think I going to stay that way for a while yet. At least till some of my favorite jb apps support 5.0. Or more likely 5.0 is untethered.

I'm still on 4.1 and don't see any reason to JB to other versions especially any other 4x. I'll probably upgrade to 5 when untethered comes up...

Im still on 4.2.6 (Verizon) untethered. I have played with ios 5 and I wasn't really impressed. Looks and works the same other than the notification system. And I used that on android already so no biggie. I can do more now 4.x than I could with os 5 unjailbroken. Tethered isn't really an option bc Im not around my computer all day to restart the phone incase of a freezeup or something.

Sitting on 4.2.1/iPhone4 and 4.3.3/iPad1. Not at all interested in changing either until 5.0 is untethered. There's absolutely nothing I need in the new firmware, and way too many bugs being reported for my tastes. Plus, feature "enhancements" like the disaster of a Music app Apple created for the iPad? Um, yeah. No thanks, 4.x.x is working just fine.

I didn't really notice a change in music quality. Any specifics?

I have 4.2.8 on my Verizon iPhone. I am JB. Loving it. No need to fix what isn't broken. Waiting for the Galaxy Nexus or Droid Razr.

iOS 4.3.3 untethered jailbreak. There is nothing in iOS 5.0 that interests me enough to warrant an update.

4.2.1. I'm waiting for an ultrasnow that doesn't screw with VVM or anything else. I have iOS 5 on my iPad, so I still get to play with the latest iOS.

Yeah same. But I really want to update to 5.0. I keep talking myself out of it though.

4.3.3 is serving me so well, I have no desire to change. Well optimized, stable & very reliable, I'm completely satisfied.

I'd rather spend time on other projects I've got planned.
