What a crapshow. When I try to buy the watch as a "new line" it wants to add $40/month to my bill. When I try to buy it as an "upgrade", it wants me to make additional payments on my PHONE. Good lord. Gave up and just going to order from Apple.

Check out my comments in the pre-order thread. A chat representative told me that the $40 per month access fee was not accurate and that whatever bug, which was causing that, would be worked out and the $10 a month fee would be charged.

I always do pre-orders directly through the Apple store. It's a seamless experience, and everything is taken care of.

I don't know what will happen when the watch arrives, but I suspect it will be taken care of in the setup.
